Hykeros is the 14th? Lord of Creation
Appearance[]
Hykeros is a creature of humanoid form without legs and with eight massive arms. His body appears to be made of bronze though also seems to be equally composed of light. He has three eyes of blazing, blue fire. His body hovers a few feet above the ground.
Origins[]
A tiny shaving of divinely wrought metal, chiseled loose by a ravenous worm's fang, curled and protruded ever so slightly over the bore of Titan Armor's weapon. In the barrage on Gnathar Shen the shaving was blasted free and sent spinning above the plane of remnants. Eventually it crossed into the path of one of the dispersed multitude of sun-motes and drawn into its fiery essence.
Like a fire remakes coarse ore, the shaving was remade, examined, reforged and rebuilt. And yet that forging worked both against the other and the heat and light of the sun-mote was absorbed by the strange metal body that bore only a slight resemblance to the tool it was originally a part of. Roughly humanoid it was missing the stout legs of Titan Armor and had instead four pairs of massive arms. Three eyes of blue fire burned within its face. The entirety of the creature was composed of both physical and ethereal, matter and energy, divine bronze and holy light.
And it knew itself: Hykeros, the Always and Created, the One and the Many, Lord of Light.
History[]
- Hykeros was born from a fragment of Mugara's Titan Armor torn loose during his first battle with Gnathar Shen when that fragment was absorbed and remade by one of the sun-motes that provide light above the plane of remnants.
- In physical form Hykeros fell to the remnant later to be known at Esh-krysee. His fall, witnessed as a falling star, was seen round the remnants. Made anxious by his separation Hykeros returned to his sanctuary, the Abode of the Helikouroi.
