As the god of History, one knows much about past events, though this is limited in part to those events that have been observed. Additionally, the events significance, at least as perceived at the time, may help it become notable enough to enter into the knowledge of the history domain. Other events are so insignificant that they exist apart. When what history thinks it knows, however, is not always the truth of the matter; history is biased.
The god of history also promotes the study of the past among mortals. Those interested in ancient lore often include Gadabout in their prayers.
The Halfling Enitan became the world’s first historian; others had written lists of kings or records of this or that edict, but he was the first to approach the past with a discerning mind and an eye toward objectivity.
